Hmm, it has been a while, but I thought that you did have to install the Exchange Management Tools on your media server at the same SP level as your Exchange Server. &nbsp; You install a Remote Agent on the Exchange Server but the Exchange Agent is actually an option installed on your media server.<br />
I also think you are supposed to install them before BE. &nbsp;You also used to need to install the MAPI Client and Collaboration Tool. &nbsp;here are some notes to that effect.<br />

The term "Backup" means the methods and processes involved to copy computer data (system data as well as application data) to media other than the ones where the data originally live (disk, tape, optical, cloud).
