Pros and Cons of enabling debug mode on Win2k3/Win2008 servers

Is it recommended to put Windows 203/2008 servers in debug mode? What are some of the pros and cons? Also, can someone point me to good article which explains this. Thanks

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

When you have any software or system in debug mode you lower performance because every operation is written into a log which puts load on the server without needing to, Debug mode in any application should only be used during troubleshooting times.
