Auto install then auto start a windows service

I need to be able to auto install a windows service into control panel.  The service will be transfered to a remote computer.  There are no people at the computer so a standard install package can not be manually clicked, to install the service on the machine.  Due to security there's no way to install it remotely.  I need an automated method of installing a windows service into the control panel services and then starting it.

Steps:
1 copy windows service.exe to remote computer
2 remote comp[uter automatically install service into control panel and start the service

Questions welcomed.  I'm new to windows services so detailed and descriptive expllanations are prefered.

Any ideas??

I'm considering using the SC command rather than the installUtil.  I have security permissions to consider which will have a defining impact on my decision and abiltiy to manage a service on the remote computer.

Would visual studio need to be on the remote computer?
