How do you add youtube thumbnails to a webpage?
Hi,
This may seem like a really easy question but I just can't seem to find the answer.
I want to add some youtube thumbnails to a webpage that of course load the full video when clicked on .
What is the best way to achieve this.
I am using AllVideos too but this doesn't show how to do the thumbs either?

Just download and install and enable the easiertube plug in for Joomla.
Paste a youtube url into your article and job done. You can configure the size and other parameters by editing the settings in the plug-in itself.

hmm I tired installing the easiertube plugin.
Not really sure what I am supposed to add to my content to get it to work?
Any ideas?
I don't think it would be the embed code you get from youtube is it?
Also does it show a thumbnail and then allow you to click the thumbnail to open the movie in your site?

I kinda want it to work the way the youtube page works...it has the thumbs all over the place, but you can click on the thumb and it opens in the main frame there on the same page...??
Firstly enable the plug in go to extensions >plugin manager hit the red button beside easiertube. the page will reload and the red button will have changed to a green arrow. Your plug in is now enabled. You can click on the easiertube title and it will open a page where you can set various settings.
All you have to do is paste in a you tube url into your page. That is all you have to do to embed a you tube video in your pages. You will not see anything until you look at your webiste and press refresh. Voila - a youtube video.

Ok, I have no problems embedding videos on my webpage. I don't need a plugin to do this, but thanks for showing me an easy plugin. BUT i need the THUMBNAILS to show on my page and then for the movie to show when you click on the thumbnail
As I mentioned in the question and as a few follow up comments, I need help getting the thumbnails to show, and then to be able to click on the thumbnails and show the movie on my page...just like youtube have on their own pages.
magento you thumbs work, but when I click on them the go off to youtube, I want them to show on my webpage.
Can you help with that?

It works well.
The only thing I was hoping was that the thumbnails would open the video in the same page
Currently you can see they open in youtube?
