Window Server 2008: Can't use shared Fax

I am having Window Server 2008 @ Standard edition and I've hosted a website there which sends Fax. The Fax server is installed on another server.

But when I tried to use Fax from my website sever then it is giving me below error

Windows Fax and Scan
Windows Fax and Scan cannot run as it cannot access your documents folder. Please ensure that Windows Fax and Scan can access that folder

Can anyone look into it on urgent basis?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Reposting and quoting directly from the developers:

We have noticed some issues that WFS is facing when the documents folder is redirected to the root of a drive (e.g. D :\) and are investigating the same. A quick workaround is to move the documents folder to a folder under the root of the drive (e.g. to d:\DocumentFolder) with the option to move all existing documents to the new location. This should allow WFS to work.

any other suggestion?
Did this not work?

Hi Coast-IT,

It didn't work.

Actually, we had upgraded web edition to standard edition.
What we tried to do it. We re-build the machine after format and re-install standard edition.
Then it allowed to us to communicate.

But we were facing "Access Denied" issue after that. We resolved this issue after taking clue from this URL

Now, fax is working fine.
