Just as an addition, most websites seem to be ok and don't cause a problem, however the websites in question are databse driven sites using asp pages, not sure if this is any help

Hi, we have tracked the issue down to the MTU settings on the router which have had to be set to 1000 whilst the ISP looks in to this at their side. Thanks for the input.<br />

However when we visit the websites from another machine or the server they seem to work ok and relatively fast.

Rebooting the computer can solve the issues and allow the users to connect to the website
