Repair Windows Activation in Windows Server 2008 R2

I had two testing boxes that were transferred to me from a department in Italy.  A dialog box tells me the Windows 2008 R2 OS is not a valid Microsoft product.

However, I cannot enter my valid product code, because the Windows activation section is missing.  Microsoft told me to reinstall a valid OS, but there is a complicated testing application on these machines and reinstalling them will take me at least a week.

Is there a way to repair the Windows activation on these machines?

You can try doing a repair on the OS but if MS says to reinstall then you are going to have to reinstall to fall under their licensing properly.

I think Twisted_Logic Is on to someting.  I need the opposit of this.  I want to restore the WAT.  I have a valid license and would like to use it to activate Windows, but I don't want to reinstall everything on the machines.
Did you change your product key?  Make sure you are using the MAK key and not the KMS
This solved the nagging screen, but I would like to reinstall the Windows Activation.
