Where does Windows 2008 and Windows 2008 R2 store the windows update uninstall files that used to be in C:\Windows on Windows 2003?

For example, if I need to free up space on my C:\> drive I can delete all the files that are related to previously installed windows updates as shown below.

       C:\Windows\$NTUninstallKB0001$
       C:\Windows\$NTUninstallKB0002$
       C:\Windows\$NTUninstallKB0003$
       C:\Windows\$NTUninstallKB0004$

However, if I look to delete the same files on Windows 2008 and Windows 2008 R2 to try and free up space, there are not present.

So my question is where are these files on Windows 2008 and Windows 2008 R2?
