Multiple Synchronization Connections - SharePoint 2010

Hello,

I have created two Web Applications on my SharePoint 2010 (RTM Version) farm, say: one.contoso.com and two.contoso.com. I have created two Synchronization Connections (SC1 and SC2) (Central Admin > Manager Service Application > User Profile Service App [Manage] > Configure Sync Connections > Create New Connection). These two connections pull User information from two domains on AD (internalUsers and externalUsers).

In SP2007 I'd create the desired AD connection for different SSP's, wonder how can I achieve the same in SP2010. I want to limit the internalUsers to be able to surf one.contoso.com and externalUsers to two.contoso.com.

I'd appreciate any help in this regard.

Thanks,

you will probably need to user profiles service apps.  subscribe each web app to the respective user profile app.
