E-mails being delivered to a wrong recipient

What is happening is random,and happens probably once every few weeks.

An e-mail from X sender addressed to A,B,C any recipients gets recieved by a Y recipient when he's not in the recipient list.

The point to note is X and Y are fixed.

I have checked Exchange e-mail addresses and any conditional forwarding for both X and Y,nothing wrong there.

Is the Y recipient being BCC'd and are you using a POP-Connector for your email retrieval?  If so, that would explain it.

Best way to find out where the forward is coming from is to sift through the Exchange transaction logs, look for that email and see who it is addressed to.  If Y is in there, it is probably a BCC, if Y isn't in there, than it is something internal most likely.
