VMware Vsphere Administration

Hi
I am Citrix Adminstrator and learning VMWare Vsphere and we got existing Citrix Infrastructure on VMware 4 which I am using for learning and familiarising myself. I am expecting job interview which has vmware administration as one of the requirements. Can anyone tell me what would normally be vmware admin day to day tasks ? Is there any document with the checklist of what needs to be looked at regularly as vmware administrator? As citrix administrator I know my regular tasks and the project work etc but not sure about vmware, pl help.

Storage I/O checks; VM and host performance; datastore free space left; snapshot maintenance; VM (typically 3rd party tool) backup verification....are just some of the more important ones. If you haven't used VMware, it will be a tough "sell" to fake your way through whatever questions they may ask. Best of luck in the interview....

I would read up on the administrative guides published by VMWare:

The major chapter titles should give you a good idea of the types of tasks you would be asked to perform - all of it is environment specific.

How do I learn snapshot maintenance ? Is reading vmware admin pdf good enough to practise with the vmware infrastructure I have ? Is there any document with lot of practical ? I got 4 left in my present contact, I got full admin rights on vmware so I would like to learn as much as possible in 4 weeks.
