i m  new to VB script and i m doing training in QTP so can u tell me what need to focus more in VB script?

I use reading from input files a lot (using FSO object).   I also write to error logs using FSO.

For loops, while loops, and I also  create students in Active Directory, so if you manage AD you might want to use ADSI with vbscript.

Depends on the application under test.
The VB Script language is pretty straight forward as long as you are familiar with object model of the application under test
Try to go through forums, where you can get huge database of question & answers
Practice QTP by recording the script and reading the tutorial attached.  You can quickly learn VBScript from http://www.w3schools.com/vbscript/default.asp
