Is this application deployed on a server? if yes, then you won't be able access any resource from a server just by mentioning the url this way

I see this is not possible through h:graphicImage after going through several posts.<br />
We changed the implementation in a different way to have this functionality in our application.

I have a requirement to use certain image files uploaded through our application for displaying through h:graphicImage tag. I am unable to locate images outside my webapplication.

In fact when i say <h:graphicImage value="C:\image.gif", it gives error as invalid URL.

Please can any one of you help me to fill some ideas to resolve this?
