Determine Inside Hosts (Cisco ASA 5505)

I have a Cisco ASA 5505 with 3 interfaces configured (Inside, DMZ, Outside). I have a web server running in the DMZ, occasionally the web server will loose internet connectivity with no changes to config or cabeling.

My only thought is my ASA has a 50 device "inside-host" limit. I don't have that many employees but with VMWare servers / IP Phones / devices I could possibly be hitting this mark.

Is there a command I could run to list the internal hosts or show a count to see if I"m hitting this mark?

Thanks,

~ Steve

Anglo,

Thanks for the info, however, the number of licenses in use states: "Not Applicable". Should that read the number of hosts?

go to Monitoring>Interfaces>Arp Table will show the MAC devices connected.  The licenses are for IPSec or SSL VPN connections.  Sounds like you have no activation key loaded (look at Configuration>Device Management>Licensing>Activation key)

In the Arp Table I could 45 so I'm under the limit (and it's working now as well). I'll have to see if when it doesn't work I'm over the limit in that table.

I'm not able to find the licensing page. I don't have a Configuration>Device Management option. I do have Properties>Device Administration>Device but nothing regarding licensing.

Ok, the command line worked: I do have an activation key shown. I guess I could use the ARP table like you showed me and count them up.

Thanks for your help!
