One of our linux server is going to stand by mode once in a while. It has backup power supply as well and it is not taking it.
Do we need to configure anything to go to second power supply? All the power supply status look good.

Hi,

Having 2 power supplies is an hardware issue and there's no configurable option for it. BTW I dont think it is something to do with actual power fluctuation.IF it was the system would not go to standby.

Check if apmd is running if it does shut it down. Check your acpi conifguration. What distro are you using?

Cheers,
K.
