PCI Drivers for Lenovo box running Win 2k3

MEADMoore used Ask the Experts™
I have installed windows 2003 server standard edition SP2 on a Lenovo ThinkCentre M58 7360 machine.  In device manager under Other Devices I have PCI Serial Port, PCI Simple Communications Controller, and Unknown Device.

I have downloaded and installed the updated BIOS, Audio, Core Chipset, Parallel PCI Card, Modem, and Networking drivers.  These drivers can be found at http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-70942

Upon researching the Vendor and Device IDs I found that the Serial Port was part of Intel Active Management Technology.  I was able to install the driver for this but the serial port is still not working.

I believe those drivers will be installed with the Chipset install package.

If you have already installed it try deleting the devices then either hit refresh or restart the computer.
I have installed the Chipset drivers.  I found a page indicating that I needed to install the intel management engine interface.  In order to get this to work with windows 2003, I had to modify the heci.inf file that this driver extracted.  I copied everything under [intel.ntx86.5.1] and pasted it into [intel.ntx86.5.2].  That allowed me to install the driver.  Now I no longer have anything under other devices.  My serial port is also working now.
