I have a promise EX8350 Raid card. It's setup with 5 -2TB drives running raid 5. The card has the latest firmware and bios loaded. when I run a Redundancy Check, it fails. I get the message:

"Redundancy Check was rejected because the logical drive has never been initialized."

I did do a fast initialize when building the array.

any thoughts?

Could you please confirm the OS and the application to run the redundancy check. However using RAIDXpert, if you use the "fix" option and let it run, it will then work on the redundancy check.
