Every Time Computer Boots

With a new Windows 7 64-bit laptop, I downloaded and installed Quickbooks Premier 2011.  The program works fine, but every time the computer boots, it goes through about 5 minutes of "Please wait while Windows configures QuickBooks".  Intuit claims it's not their problem, and suggests a call to Microsoft.  Any ideas?

It also happens every time I start QuickBooks
Possible solution from http://community.intuit.com/posts/please-wait-while-windows-configures-quickbooks:

Removed Quickbooks through the control panel "Add/Remove programs". Then in Explorer, renamed the Quickbooks file under Intuit to "Quickbooks Old". Then reloaded Quickbooks, downloaded all the updates, and it is working fine. Then downloaded the patch for IE7, upgraded Internet Explorer to 7, and it works also.

Something else I did, but I'm not sure if it made any difference, before doing all this I renamed C:Config.msi in Explorer to C:Config1.msi. After I reloaded everything and got it working, I named it back to C:Config.msi.

Sorry for my silence... the problem occurs on a client's computer, and he's got it for the moment.  I've asked him for some time to address the issue.  I'll try the possible solution from Thalarctos.
