Exchange 2007; Authenticated Relaying
Hello -
I am trying to setup authenticated relaying for my own domain. here is what i am getting : CLient does not have permissions to to send as this sender error 5.7.1 (my own account)
I can allow unauthenticated relaying but keep getting the above error. this docuemnt says exchange supports relaying out of the box:
http://exchangepedia.com/2007/01/exchange-server-2007-how-to-allow-relaying.html
On the Receive Connector: (Permissions) i have exchange users, (Authentiation) Basic Auth is selected.
this has not been my experience.
What am i missing here? this isnt that hard right?

I got this fixed it was an issue with my servers settings somewhere, i setup a new exch organization and was successfully able to do my test.
