How can I format a textbox in MS Word 2003 so that I get decimal points beneath each other?

I have a textbox in the left margin of a Word document with only figures for amounts in USD. When I write the amount in USD (with two decimals for cents) and then go to next row in this textbox and write next amount I want that the decimal point always come in the same location (immediately beneath the decimal point on the row over it).

How can I do this?

Left justify the text boxes, so that everything is pushed to the right and the decimals will line up properly.
I am sorry, RIGHT justify....RIGHT justify
