I am looking for advice concerning setting up print servers across 4 sites based on the same network. We are trying to get users to print to their nearest printer (or to the main printer in one;s office) so there should be some inteligence in the printing process. <br />

Could some one point me to the right directions in implementing this. <br />
We have currently windows XP across the domain, and the servers are all W2K3. <br />
I was thinking of placing the print server onto our secondary DC (we have 2 DC per site).<br />

The answer I am looking for is what microsft techology should I be looking at so users once logged on to a PC, presses print, and it will print to the nearest printer to them. <br />

Windows Server 2003 was based on Windows XP and was released in four editions: Web, Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter.
