I am looking for advice concerning setting up print servers across 4 sites based on the same network. We are trying to get users to print to their nearest printer (or to the main printer in one;s office) so there should be some inteligence in the printing process.

Could some one point me to the right directions in implementing this.
We have currently windows XP across the domain, and the servers are all W2K3.
I was thinking of placing the print server onto our secondary DC (we have 2 DC per site).

The answer I am looking for is what microsft techology should I be looking at so users once logged on to a PC, presses print, and it will print to the nearest printer to them.

I understand that this is a print server I am looking at , but the inteligence required for printing to the nearest printer to someone work station is I am looking for.
