Hi,

for a Sound-Studio currently I need about 4 TB of network disk space. The space is needed for an archive of some music files and videos. This archive must provide DLNA (Fuppes) and iTunes Server (Firefly) features. It also has to work, even if one HD crashes, but has to have energy saving features.

So what is the best solution for that?

a) I take a DRobo FS. There is an app for Firefly and Fuppes.
b) I take a NAS, the Seagate BlackArmor for example. That device supports all features, I need.
c) Or i build a  Fileserver with Solaris/Linux/BSD

What's the best solution for me?
