Good endpoint backup software?

I am looking for a good backup software solution for my network.  I have 2 Dell R610 servers and about 85 client machines.  It must also work with vmWare.  I have heard CA ArcServ is pretty good...what say you?

Acronis is great.  you can also use dd. What OS?  Win7 has a decent backup client. and i've used Macrium Reflect with minimal problems if the hdd crashes.

ASKER

Almost all clients are XP.  About 4 or 5 are Windows 7.

Acronis is your best bet, but not if you're working with a zero budget.  dd to a NAS (built from spare parts) running FreeNAS.

Macrium Reflect is also good, free, but didn't get a chance to use it much as we decided to use the built in backup in Win7

The Data Recovery plugin for vmWare should work with any amount of VMs I have?
Yes, If your subscription covers VDR (VMWare Data Recovery), and is current, it would work on every VM on the covered boxes.

VMWare backup suggestion was very helpful.
