Hi
I am having problems with my Symantec backup exec 12.5 on our windows 2008 server with exchange 2007, the backup fails every night with the message, the consistency check of the snapshot of the Microsoft transaction log has failed.
I have ran the Isinteg and eseutil and all report no problems with the database, up till the 30/09/10 I have had no problems with the back up’s
After checking the error reports in event viewer I have noted the following messages which indicate a Virus which is in the store although the Symantec antivirus software recognises it, it doesn’t clean it , could it be this what is screwing the backups and how do i fix it? Please, it’s driving me mad. The error messages are as follows
