Looking for a robust "Search & Replace" Windows tool for large files (>1GB)

Last Modified: 2012-08-14
In order to pre-process huge RAW files (1-2GB) before they are loaded into MySQL database, I need a robust "Search & Replace" Windows tool that supports regular expressions and large files, i.e., does not try to load them entirely into memory before processing them, but just parses them line by line.
I've already tried with GrepWin, which I like really much because of its interface, but while it works on normal files, it crashes on big ones (probably because it tries to load them into memory first).

My aim is replace empty fields in the RAW CSV files (,,) by (,\N,), so that they are recognized as NULL values in MySQL, instead of zeros.
