Installing QB Database Server on XP machine. Bad idea??

I'm tying to upgrade QB 2011, and thinking about moving QB database server to XP instead of windows server 2003.
We had some concurrent  user issues before and we moved it to win 2003 server.
(not exactly sure what it was.... I was just told)
According to MS web site, you can connect up to 10 users with XP and we don't have 10 concurrent users.

Is it a bad idea to set up QB database server on XP machine??

Thank you for your help

Thank you
