Is there a registry edit for Windows 7 "loudness equalization" settings?

I have a lab of new HP 6000 pro computers that you can barely hear sound through the headphones.

If I check the box for  under headphone properties -> Enchancement -> "loudness equalization" then you can hear fine.

I am looking for a reg key or easy setting to push out to the entire lab at once as the students don't have rights to change the setting.
