How to share sql 2005 database

Microsoft SQL Server 2005

We have a CRM program running SQL 2005 in SBS 2008.

We had to reinstall the OS, and the database was attached exactly as before, the software setup exactly as before.

But now no users are able to connect to the database.

The server name is SERVERNAME\SBSMONITORING
This was the same path/name as the last install when users could connect. Users can connect to any mapped drive on the server fine, and security suite/firewall has been uninstalled.

Im thinking the share properties of the database need to be adjusted? How?

We do not need user specific share rules as for the map drives sharing is for 'everyone' so the database can be the same.
