Wyse USB Firmware tool generate img file and not rsp file
Hi!
I have 2 Wyse thin clients and both are on Wyse Thin OS (WTOS). They have different versions (one is 6.2 and other 6.3).
I want to put the 6.3 version of the firmware on the one that have 6.2. I've found the Wyse USB Firmware tool 1.10 and I had no problems to make a copy of the firmware.
Now I want to update (push) the firmware and when I follow the procedure in the guide and on the software, it ask me to select a RSP or ID2 file. But the copy (pull) operation generated me a IMG file, so I can't continue...
I tried to compress the image to see if the compressed image is a RSP file but it's still a IMG file. I've searched on WYSE's website and the only thing that I've found that is useful is to buy a service contract and after that download a firmware from their site.
This the link to download the software and the guide to use it : http://www.wyse.com/serviceandsupport/support/dlOraFW.asp?which=102&model=USB%20Firmware%20Tool(Wyse%20Imaging%20Tool)
