power edge 2500 array manager
I'm having a BEAR of a time finding a way to view RAID Array status in Openmanage for a Dell Power Edge 2500. Can someone please point me in the right direction?
I'm running OpenManage Server Administrator version 4.5.0.
I'm running OpenManage Server Administrator version 4.5.0.
Specifically what controller and what O/S are you using?
ASKER
It's a PERC 3/Di and Server 2003.
Array Manager has been replaced by OpenManage Server Administrator, which integrates RAID array/controller information with all other system information.

Download and run to extract files, then run C:\Openmanage\windows\setu p.exe, choose Custom install and make sure that Storage Management is installed.

There is the possibility that very old firmware/drivers will prevent storage information from being displayed, but in most cases, you can get it by doing the Custom install.

Thanks. I have OpenManage Server Admin installed. It's not showing array info. I'll try your link now and report back.

That's apparently the same thing I have installed now. Here's something interesting I get during installation:

Please note that while it shows Storage Management as installing, it shows a zero byte installation. Also, OM only shows the built-in SCSI controller. Not the PERC.
What is your PERC driver and firmware at? You can get the driver version from Device Manager, and without OMSA, you will need to get the firmware version from the CTRL-A BIOS utility. Firmware too out of date can cause no storage information to show.

PERC 3/Di driver is a Microsoft Driver version 5.2.3790.1830. I've been trying to update it to no avail.
Provided you have SP2 installed, this driver should work:
