I have a slider that uses, http://sorgalla.com/projects/jcarousel/ By default it generates next and previous button. Is there a way to use existing buttons for next and previous?

Of course

the style.css
.jcarousel-skin-tango .jcarousel-next-horizontal {
    position: absolute;
    top: 43px;
    right: 5px;
    width: 32px;
    height: 32px;
    cursor: pointer;
    background: transparent url(next-horizontal.png) no-repeat 0 0;
}

has next-horizontal.png and prev-horizontal images bound to it. If you name yours the same you can use them, or you can just change the path in css file.
