I have a Windows 2008 server and some iscsi volumes from Dell Equallogic PS5000 series.<br />
The volume contains folders that are shared by this server.<br />
The problem arises on reboot - some times it happens that MS Lanman server service runs earlier than iscsi initiator and shares are unavalilable.<br />

Microsoft posted a KB870964 (<a href="http://support.microsoft.com/kb/870964" rel="ugc">http://support.microsoft.com/kb/870964</a>) which suggests to make the server service dependent on iscsi initiator service. This results in a total system crash.
