Smart Technologies Smartboard 680 not remembering calibration

We run quite a number of Smart Technology 680 Smart-boards but are having problems since moving to Windows 7. For some reason the board will not remember any of its calibration settings post log off, causing staff to have to calibrate every time they log on.

Also the calibration seems to wander in different parts of the board i.e. pretty accurate in the centre of the board but up to an inch out on the extremities

Sounds like an issue with graphics drivers or the smart drivers themselves - are they both up to date?

Have solved issues. We first had to make registry changes to HKEYLocalMachine\software\Smart Technologies\ and add "Everyone" to the permissions with full control.

We also had to disable single finger panning in the control panel of Windows 7 to solve an issue with drag and drop functionality when using the smart board.

For solutions see attached files.

Cheers
