Ran DCDiag and got several errors: Forwarders list has invalid forwarder: listsIPhere <<name unavailable>> What should I do to resolve this?

Error:  Forwarders list has invalid forwarder: [IP here] <<name unavailable>>  What should I do to resolve this?

I got 15 of these messages.  Not sure how to resolve or how serious they really are?

Look in the properties of the DNS service on the AD controller you ran the diag on. Make sure it is set to forward correctly. Depending on your domain structure on how things should be configured. Typically if you have more than 1 controller, one will forward (recursive) queries outside of the LAN. All other DNS services should point to this server as a forwarder. The server doing recursive queries should point to your ISP DNS servers, or another set of publicly used DNS servers, i.e.,, etc.
If you only have a single AD conroller, set the forwarders on you AD controller to point to your ISP or public DNS servers external to your organization.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/323380 gives a step by step on configuring forwarders for 2003 Server.

Thanks pmarquardt - we have one domain controller here and another at a different location that replicates with the main one here.  So these error messages - are these forwarders that I should search for and delete?  Or do I just create the correct ones as in the kb article?
