Hi

I have installed Webmin/Virtmin on Centos 5. I can recieve emails but cannot send out any emails. I know its some configuration on the email server which should permit my IP address or domain to relay email but I cant find that.

I can send outbound email from the user mailbox on the server through Webmin/Virtmin.

Regards

Yamin

you should configure either postfix or sendmail MTA server on the system

They are already installed and configured on the server, as I said I can send an outbound email from within the user mailbox on the server but not the Outlook client remotely.

I'm not sure whether you configured sendmail or postfix MTA. If it is sendmail, make sure the following change has been done.

DAEMON_OPTIONS(`Port=smtp,Addr=127.0.0.1, Name=MTA')dnl" line to be

"DAEMON_OPTIONS(`Port=smtp,Name=MTA')dnl

You need to configure SMTP-AUTH in your MTA server. Please refer the links below.

This has been resolved. Basically it was blocked by the ISP.
