Hammer Storage Z-BOX 4TB

I have a hammer storage z-box that appears to have a firmware version 0.0.38 as oppose to 1.7.1. For some reason it seems as if Hammer Storage did not put an updated firmware on this device. I can ping the IP address but I can not connect to any of the following ports when using telnet. Ports 21, 22, 80 and 8080. I have the latest firmware that I downloaded from Hammer Storage. It's currently on my desktop PC. My question is,  is there a way to upload the firmware using any type of alternate measures?

That was the first place I look for support from. For some reason I have yet to hear from hammer. I emailed them and received no response from them. I also called them countless of times. They never answer the phone. I may of called them 100 times. I emailed them about five times and after a few months I have given up on them. So if someone can help I would really appreciate it. Thank you in advance.
