VM INSTANCE:

2. Exchange 2007
3. OCS 2007 R2
4. SharePoint 2007
5. SharePoint 2010
6. XP SP3+Office 2007+OCS Client

PROBLEM:
1. presence icon appear when user in XPSP3 connect to their website in SharePoint 2007 but not when they connect in SharePoint 2010 user website

STEPS TAKEN:

-user xp has office 2007 outlook installed
-user login to their xp using user domain a/c
-auto login to OCS client 2007
-user launch IE to their sharepoint user site in SharePoint 2007
-user open colleague tracker
they can see their colleague presence

WHEN USER CONNECT TO SHAREPOINT 2010
-user xp has office 2007 outlook installed
-user login to their xp using user domain a/c
-auto login to OCS client 2007
-user launch IE to their sharepoint user site in SharePoint 2010
-user go to Colleague but only see user name without presence

QUESTIONS:
-should I use AD Win2008, SharePoint 2010, OCS 2010 (Lync), Office 2010, Exchange 2010
instead of

In SharePoint 2007, I can see all colleague presence under Colleague Tracker.

In SharePoint 2010:
-I can't find Colleague Tracker anymore.
-Where the location of Colleague Tracker?
-I can see other user presence in Discussion web part, but only for online user, not for offline user

thanks

might be a dumb question, but have you ran full user profile import?

This solution from my colleague work for me.
1. In Home sites, insert a web part called 'site users'
2. Edit web part and choose option to show all users in the site
3. Add users to site permissions to allow ocs client to call

With one caveat. Let say I have 100 users, all the users will appear in the long list.
Is it possible to make the list have scrolling bar, and active users will move to the top of the list.
