USB Removal Error
I recently started receiving the following error whenever I need to remove a USB device and I first go through the proper "safely remove" process prior to physically disconnecting the devices:
Rundll32.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
I had this problem once before years ago, but I just can't seem to find the solution to resolving it. I know that there is some sort of fix. I have have tried doing a search through this site and Google, but I never can seem to find a solution that is on point.
I am not concerned about removing the "wrong" USB device or a disk player. I am only talking about removing flash drives, WD "Passport" drives, or their equivalent.
Thanks!

had you scan your computer for viruses?
Did you try another USB?

From here http://help.lockergnome.com/windows/Run-DLL-APP--ftopict557688.html comes
Open Run command and type in: rundll32.exe setupapi. InstallHinfSection
DefaultInstall 132 %wind ir%\Inf\ie.inf click [OK] but I can't vouch for it.
