CakePHP, WAMP and redirection

Hello,
I got a site written with CakePHP (it's totally new to me) that I want to run locally in my WAMP
I enabled mod_rewrite but I'm stuck with a problem

When I go to url http://mysite:8080 it suddenly redirects to http://mysite:8080/home displaying a 404 error

Of course there's no "home" directory nor in the root neither elsewhere, and I suspect that this redirection should be configured somewhere in the app, but the question is: WHERE?
I scan the .htaccess files, but nothing refers to a directory called "home"

Have you got idea of where this redirection could occur?
And, mostly, how to avoid the 404 error when typing http://mysite:8080/ ?
Should I delete some cache? Where?

Thanks

Hello ivanhalen,

Check cakephp config for App.baseUrl this is probably set to /home or something like.

Comment that like out or change it to your applications base url probably '/'

CakePHP is pretty flexible.

Check this out:
