The Information Store could not be opened in Outlook 2007.

We have a customer running Office 2007 on a Windows 7 machine. Every few days she is unable to get into Outlook and gets an error saying "The Information Store could not be opened". They are using Exchange 2003 on a Windows 2003 Server domain. The only way we can get her going again is to recreate her mail profile which then works fine for a few days before the error re-occurs. Obviously we can't keep re-creating her profile. Any ideas?

You may also try removing her mail profile on the workstation (rather than just the exchange server)
Start -> Control Panel -> Mail -> Show Profiles.  Remove the corrupted profile.

Hi THere,

Cannot remember the fix however it was not above. We had logged onto another machine and all worked fine for her, I think we re installed office again but not entirely sure.
