Hi,

I am trying to format my ms word document but i am having problems with a 5th level heading. I am using MS word 2003.

Here's what i am trying to achieve :

1 Heading 1
1.1 Heading 2
1.1.1 Heading 3
1.1.1.1 Heading 4
1.1.1.1.1 Heading 5

but i couldn't get heading 5 working even after modifying the heading 5 style to level 5.
It will not continue its numbering from heading 4 no matter what settings i used.

Hello,

can you post your file? This should not really be a problem. Attached is a file with the heading levels and numbers.

cheers, teylyn

save a copy of your file. Delete all the text, then just add a few headings. Post that file, so we can inspect it.
