color profiling my printer to my 64 bit win  7 dell computer

i am not able to print the same color that i see in my  dell computer display , i have the driver installed . any suggestion please on how i have to profile the icc profile from the printer device (color laserjet 5550 ) to my system

Both the display and the printer must be calibrated. In order to get precise color matching, a colorimeter is required.  There are several on the market, and the above article links to a page that discusses colorimetric color matching.

Be aware that as monitors age, their color profiles change too.  The manufacturer's supplied color profile applies to a brand-new monitor.  The only way to get a precise match at any given point in the lifetime of the monitor is with a colorimeter.
