Hi

I made a link field Incident (as and N:1 to opportunity ) and opportunity (as and N:1 to Incident)

1. I when i create a link between Incident and opportunity, i can se the link on incident, but not on the opportunity, i have to create that manualy .. is there a way for me to avoid that ?
Maby by creating an ekstra field and save the data there or by an workprogress ?

2. I have an  work progress, that creates and Incident based on opportunity, but when the opportunity is created i can not fill autofill the link field on the opportunity width the Incident i just created. What to do ?

If the relationship is Many/N (Incident) to 1 (Opportunity), the behavior you describe is correct.  From the Incident, there will be a field with a link to the Opportunity because there can only be one Opportunity associated with the Incident.  From the Opportunity, there will be a new section in the left hand navigation bar for related Incidents, because each Opportunity can have more than one Incident associated.  Does this describe the behavior you are seeing?

So, CRM is working correctly.

Will there ever be more than one Incident associated with a specific opportunity?

How about this:

1) Create another N:1 relationship, but this time make it Many/N (Opportunity) to 1 (Incident).

2) Create a workflow rule that runs when an Incident is create that updates the related-Incident field on the parent Opportunity with the new Incident record.

I'm not sure if this will work, but it should.

I think the suggestion I posted (https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/26607626/MS-CRM-4-link-fileld.html#a34121948) above is the (or at least a) correct solution to this.  It requires no extra skills beyond the skills the question author already exhibited.
