Editing CRM Menu's
Can anyone tell me how to add/remove items to/from a CRM form Menu bar?
In particular, how do I add a Report to the 'Reports' menu on the Quote form and tell it what parameter to pass to the report?
We are currenly using MS Dynamics CRM 3.0 and SSRS reports
Thanks

Unfortunately I don't have access to the Workplace area :(, it has been removed from our site map

OK. Try running an Advanced Find and change the look for to Reports. You should get a list of reports in the results with the Edit Report button in the toolbar.

Can you believe that 'Reports' is not in the 'Look For' list :(
I'd love to find the person who implimented this instance :)

I guess what I could do is to re-instate the 'Workplace' section in the customizations.xml file and import it, but I don't have the original to know the correct format etc...
I think you mean sitemap.xml. Anyway here is one from a demonstration 3.0 system that I have. Please take care editing sitemap.xml because you can easily stop CRM from loading. Make a backup of your existing sitemap.

Thanks again
I'll give this a try on our test instance first, I'm pretty new to this so fingers crossed :)

OK, I got the site map imported into my test instance and I can now see the Worplace area.
But when I go to the Reports section, I dont' see the particular report I'm looking for (Quote Letterhead) has shown in the screenshot above, would that be because it's a custom report and not the original 'seeded' report?

Did you try changing the view to show all reports/hidden reports?
BTW, Reports don't appear in Advanced Find in version 3.0, that was my mistake.

I did change the view to both All and Hidden but I still didn't see it

Not to worry, thanks again for your help, I guess I need to contact the implimentors and find out what they did
Here you will see settings where you control where the report is displayed: Forms for related records, lists for related records and reports area.
