Exporting text from resx files in VS2008

I have an US English / French Canadian application. My French speaking customer is wanting to assist my translation efforts and I need to send him my text strings from the en-US & fr-CA resx files. I am trying to figure out how to export the text items from the resx files to something I can send my customer to edit, then I will need to apply his updated translations.

Could he not just edit a copy of the .resx file himself?  It is just a standard .xml file that can be opened from notepad.

Maybe I can send him snippets, but I don't want him too deep in something that can break the project...

You could generate a .resources file from your resx file and then generate a .text file from a .resources file.
Look at this it shows you how to go back and forth and it is rather easy:

I have gone with ID 34114614 as it points me at some source code that I can adapt to my on going needs.
