I converted a bunch of ACT 6 email templates to ACT 2011 where they now reside as tpl documents. Is there an way to convert them all to adt docs so I can use Word instead of the ACT WP?

No, there is no way to do this.

Besides, templates are best re-created as the formatting, etc will be all different

I was afraid that was going to be your answer :-(>  I guess it's cut and paste time...

BTW, am I correct that it's all or nothing? It seems that if I select ACT WP, I see only .tpl when I browse to select a template. If I switch to Word, all I see is .adt. There's no way to be offered both choices??

Only by switching wp before doing the template

We did I product to do email merges from ACT! 6.0 that could use ADT and GMT - http://www.glcomputing.com.au/main/15/2
