Palm TX password reset without loss of data

I need a procedure to reset my palm tx password without loss of data.  I need to sync my outlook to my palm but I don't know my password .  How can I do this? Or is there someone that i can get in to it.

Unfortunately if you don't have the password you will have to do a hard reset, this will revert your device back to factory settings:smileysad:

Here is a link to show how to do a hard reset - kb.palm.com and enter solution id 887
 
Once the hard reset is complete you can try to hotsync your information back to the device.
