how do i use a private proxy on internet when all traffic needs to go through my corporate proxy first.

hi experts

i work as a network admin
we have a corporate proxy for accessing anything on the Internet.

now i have a new task, which is to create a new proxy server located on the Internet for
selected users. lets call it proxy in the cloud

in other words, most of my users will keep using the existing corporate proxy
only few selected users need to use a proxy in the cloud.

I know i can get a virtual private server from any isp
i also can install a proxy server on this vps
so i can build a proxy in the cloud for myself. no problems here

but my question is
how do i configure a user to use the proxy in the cloud AND go out via corporate proxy at the same time?

problem is no one can go out unless the browser is configured to hit the corporate proxy
how do i tell the corporate proxy that if a request is coming from user A then send it to the proxy in the cloud?

i though of the proxy pac file but not very sure on howto use it in this scenario
another option of course is to bypass the corporate proxy which i do not want to do.

let me know if i am not clear enough and i can clarify further.

thank you experts

Basically,...you can't.

The user would need a "way" out to the Internet that does not use your local proxy.  Then they would put the proxy settings in their browsers for the proxy they need to use.  They can't use both proxy's unless everyone uses both proxys.  In that case the outside proxy would be configured as an upstream proxy within the config of your local proxy.

To me,...personally,...the whole idea is pointless and a waste of time.  You are just begging & pleading to have internet access problems and to get phone calls from users screaming at you that they can't get to the internet,..or they can get to the internet but some website they need to use suddenly doesn't work properly,...or their login doesn't work right on the web site they need to log into.
