is it not to do with chess and other games programs

alpha is your move and beta is there move, you pick the move that does the best for you, so alpha is maximised, but your opponent wants you to do the worst, so beta is minimised.

Okay; I still need to know how to apply that to my figure. Did I apply the algorithm correctly? If I didn't, how do I need to correct it?
