My phone is showing the following error when I tether it: "There has been a change made on your server that requires you to resyncronize all items on your device. All changes made since your last successful sync will be lost. Do you wish to continue?" Some details:

- Windows Mobile 6.5 Pro
- The phone is configured to sync tasks and contacts with the tether.
- The phone is configured to sync email and calendar via Exchange (Google Apps).
- Contacts sync via tether rather than Google Apps to sort by last, first rather than first, last.
- The Exchange (Google Apps) sync produces no error message.  Only the tether sync produces the error.

THis may appear if there was a change made to the ActiveSync policy on the server.

How often do you see this message on the mobile device?
Are there any other users that have noticed this?

My safest bet would be to delete the sync partnership of both (exchange and google) and then reconfiguring the profile from scratch.

Let us know how it goes.

Sorry for the slow response.  (Just back from vacation.)  I'll try it tomorrow.
